I'm a graphic designer from San Francisco, California (in case you haven't gathered that yet). I’m also an honors student pursuing a dual degree in design and data analytics at Syracuse University.
Let me tell you about a few of the cool things I've done so far.
I have… – designed and published three magazines while serving as Design Director of a major on-campus magazine for three semesters (see: ugirl) – designed an interactive mobile + web prototype for a group of foster homes in South Africa (see: vineyard houses) – designed, edited, and published my first demo reel of motion design work (see: motion reel) – designed three apparel drops for a student-run dance organization that I’m also a member of (see: danceworks) – designed posters and billboards for a potentially OSCAR-nominated short film (see: her fight, his name) – designed an entire brand start to finish (see: loom) – designed a custom typeface (see: mosaic) – designed my custom portfolio in figma and framer (see: the page you are looking at right now) – designed an entire brand for my dad's 60th birthday party, including a website, drink menus, merch, and a video recap (see: renat60) – cleaned, sorted, queried, scraped, and created more databases than you can imagine.
some of my other talents include:
– skiing black diamonds (west coast black diamonds) (just saying)
– solving the NYT crossword puzzle daily with impressive speed
– altering my clothes right before I’m going to wear them
– telling people what to do (politely and constructively)
– dancing (sometimes on stage, like for a performance, sometimes in my bedroom, like a teenage girl in an 80s movie)
